Valero Grand Suites by Swiss-Belhotel

Always our first choice when staying in Makati. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. They made sure that we enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed: from the doormen to the receptionist and the cleaners; every one made us feel welcome. The location is great - everything is pretty much a 5 to 15 minute walk from everything.

I appreciate how the photos posted for the rooms were pretty accurate. The staff were polite and accommodating. I loved how nearby the Saturday market was to this hotel.

Breakfast is good. The room is nice and comfortable with a good view in the window.

Everything about Valero suite has been top notch including the staffs.

The employees are awesome! Very friendly, respectful and eager to please. They were also knowledgeable about the surrounding area, specifically alternative dining options from what the hotel offered and things to see in the area such as malls, museums, etc. I stayed in a suite which had a large separate bedroom with comfortable queen size bed. The suite also had a small kitchen area with a refrigerator, kettle and hotplate. A set of cups, dishes and silverware were provided. However no pots or pans to cook with. The bathroom was spacious, clean and provided towels were of good quality. The price I paid through Booking.com was an amazing deal for the room I had. Of the three hotels I stayed at during my 14 days in the Philippines, this was by far the best and I highly recommend it to my fellow westerns. Located in the financial district (that's what I was told) the area is very clean compared to other parts of metro Manila, with shopping, dining and other attractions close to the hotel.
